The SolarEdge SEAUTO-TX-5000 Auto Transformer is the device that continuously monitors the grid voltage and send solar power and stored power to the backup electric service panel. It was designed to work with the StorEdge inverter as a transfer switch for the battery storage. The SEAUTO is is required for the StoreEdge inverter to operate properly and not send power to the main electric panel when the grid is down.
The Auto-Transformer also regulates the AC power sent to the critical loads when the grid is down. The SEAUTO-TX-5000 has a continuous output of 120/240V split phase 5000W with a peak power output of 7600W for 10 seconds. It is NEMA 3R rated for outdoor installation. It comes with thermal protection and a standard 12-year warranty.
