The DPW Top-of-Pole Mount provides a secure PV mounting solution on a single pole. The TPM series utilizes high strength welded steel components and corrosion-resistant hardware. The design allows a single person to adjust the array’s tilt angle; the setup offers six seasonal settings from 15° to 65° in 10° increments to maximize production throughout the year.
The standard DPW top-of-pole mount withstands 90 mph winds. The back supports and sleeves are built with MIG welded steel; the rails are made of structural aluminum, and the hardware comes in a mix of stainless steel and zinc plated.
The upgraded version of the rack withstands 130 mph winds and is made with hot-dip galvanized or powder-coated finish steel components, anodized aluminum rails, and stainless steel tamper-resistant module mounting hardware.
Top-of-Pole mounts install over standard Schedule 40 or 80 rigid steel pipe. The pipe is not included. They reduce space on the ground by supporting the PV modules with a single-pole as the foundation without compromising its strength.
For design purposes, DPW groups solar modules based on their size; Type-G modules have the following dimensions:
