The Enphase IQ Envoy facilitates per-module monitoring, system troubleshooting, and a variety of features that characterize the Enphase IQ Smart Energy System.
The Enphase IQ Envoy ENV-IQ-AM1-240 M is a communication gateway with integrated revenue grade PV production metering; it is certified by ANSI C12.20 and provides an optional consumption monitoring with a +/- 2.5% accuracy.
The Envoy management unit connects every IQ microinverter in the systems with the Enphase Enlighten website to show you an accurate representation of your entire system and the performance of each PV module in real-time. (The Enlighten platform is provided by Enphase and is free to use for the lifetime of the PV system). Data is monitored 24/7, and Enlighten will immediately notify you via email of any issues it detects.
Besides showing production on the Enlighten platform, the IQ Envoy gateway offers remote maintenance and management of the Enphase IQ system. It also provides integrated revenue grade production metering and optional consumption monitoring; it integrates with the Enphase IQ Battery system. Adding a pair of current transformers CT-200-SPLIT allows the homeowner to monitor their electricity consumption.
The IQ Envoy is easily configured using the free Installer ToolKit app. It connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or 3G/4G cellular. Rated for indoor use only, comes with a 5-year warranty.
