The PT-100 charge controller made by Magnum Dimensions is one of the largest MPPT charge controller available today. The controller’s algorithm will charge the batteries operating at the maximum power point of the solar array. With 99% conversion efficiency the PT-100 allows for increased battery charging capacity regulating the charging output to 100 Amperes.
The same controller can be used with 12V, 24V or 48V. The charge controller will automatically detect the systems nominal voltage and adjust its charging algorithms accordingly and producing up to 100A regardless of the battery voltage.
A single PT-100 controller can handle large PV arrays of more then 6000 Watts. If a larger PV array is used the controller will limit the output current to 100Amps for maximum power efficiency.
The PT-100 MPPT charge controller includes an external temperature sensor to compensate for drastic temperature changes. It also includes indication for PV ground fault detection and interruption (GFDI) and integrated arc fault circuit interrupter (AFCI) to meet the requirements of the NEC.
The PT-100 features multiple LED indicators in the front panel of the controller as well as large digital LED display for easy reading of the system’s performance.
The PT-100 charge controller features an unique wiring box that can be installed and fully wired prior to mounting the charge controller unit. It is compatible with Magnum panels and mini panels and it provides access to PV and battery disconnect breakers.
