Use the Magnum Extension Box MPXD175-30D to mount and connect an additional Magnum MS4448PAE inverter/charger to a Magnum Panel with equal rating. The design of the MPX extension boxes allows Magnum inverters to sit vertically on top of the extension box.
The Extension Box includes the AC breakers, DC breakers, and wiring to connect and seamlessly integrate the additional inverter to the Magnum Panel. An inverter hood (not shown in the picture) also comes with the MPX extension to prevent items from falling into the ventilation openings at the top of the inverter.
The MPX extension box includes (content might vary depending on the model):
– One MPX extension box
– Inverter hood
– DC disconnect breaker (250A or 175A DC depending on model)
– 30 AC input breaker
– DC battery cables, positive and negative
– AC wiring for wiring AC terminals into the Magnum Panel
– Remote cable 300V, for installing remote Router
– Stacking cable
– Labeling and mounting hardware such as nuts, washers, and bolts.
