The Whiz Bang Jr current sense module attaches to the standard 50mv / 500A Shunt and wires into the Classic and KID charge controllers. This accessory gives amperage readings from the mentioned shunt.
One feature of the Whiz Bang Jr includes its ability to detect if the battery current falls below a programmed quantity for one minute. This triggers a response for the Classic charge controller to go to Float mode, meaning that the batteries have been fully charged.
The Shunt MNSHUNT 50mV / 500Amp is not included and is necessary for the installation of the Whiz Bang Jr.
It is made in the USA and complies with type 1 environmental rating. It comes with a 5 year warranty.
