Use Phocos CIS-CU programing remote control to configure Phocos charge controller models CIS, CIS-N, CIS-MPPT, and CIS-LED. The CIS-CU remote control connects with the CIS charge controllers via infrared communication. It is required to modify the controller’s factory settings such as battery type, deep discharge thresholds, load timers, etc.
It is very easy to configure the charge controller via the CIS-CU remote control, simply set the rotary and toggle switches on the remote to the desired values, press the send button and wait for the confirmation response. The remote control can communicate within a distance up to 10 meters; it uses two AA batteries to operate.
Phocos was founded in Germany in the 1980’s. The original founders were engineers and researchers who studied renewable energy at the Ulm University of Applied Sciences. They mainly focused on off-grid applications, for use in remote areas with no connection to the electric grid. As the demand for renewable energy sources grew in remote areas, so did their range of innovations. Phocos maintains a priority to develop eco-friendly, simple to use, energy saving products that are also durable with high-end technology. Applications of their products range from rural, recreational, residential, to industrial. Phocos North America is located in Tucson, AZ. Phocos also has 12 other offices around the world.
