The MPPT 80 600 charge controller will continuously track the maximum power point of your solar PV array in order to deliver the maximum available current to charge your battery bank while providing increased flexibility in solar panel selection and string configuration. The higher operating voltage will also reduce wiring cost and allow for a greater distance between the solar panels and the batteries.
The MPPT 80 600 features a configurable auxiliary output used to drive a load control relay or other active devices like external vent fans and alarms. It comes with a standard 5 year warranty. Both Conext MPPT charge controllers communicate seamlessly with other Conext equipment like the Schneider inverter/charger from the series SW and XW+.
The Conext MPPT 80 600 can be used with solar arrays with voltage up to 600VDC. It supports a full charging output of up to 80Amps for battery banks configured from 12VDC to 48VDC. The charging output is not affected by the ambient temperature de-rating for temperatures up to 113F (45C). A battery temperature sensor is included with the charge controller. It comes with ground fault protection (GFDI). The MPPT 80 600 is a ventilated controller rated for indoor use and it features a built-in and aluminum heat sink. Its casing is made with aluminum sheet metal and includes 22.22 mm and 27.76 mm (7/8in and 1in) knockouts for conduit connections.
