The WEEB washer or clips are designed to create an electric bond between the solar panels and the mounting hardware. This grounding method is the easiest of all available applications and create a continuous and direct path to ground for any current leak. All WEEB washers are made with 304 stainless steel and can be reused. They are ETL Listed to UL 467 as Grounding & Bonding Equipment and UL Recognized to UL 2703.
The WEEB-DSK38 is a more generic grounding washer designed by Burndy to be used with multiple bottom-mount and top-clamp PV mounting hardware applications. It is a round washer that can accommodate 3/8” or M10 hardware. Other sizes available for 5/16” and 1/4” hardware.
