Canadian Solar's LIC (Low Internal Current) and new poly cell technology had helped to create high-efficiency polycrystalline solar panels. They are made with 144 (72 ½ Cells) cells and have a panel efficiency of up to 17.64%. The KuMax CS3U-350P polycrystalline module is now more reliable, its structure minimizes microcracks, it has a lower hot spot temperature and supports snow loads of up to 5400Pa. These modules are designed for solar grid-tie applications where maximum output is required.
The positive-only tolerance guarantees that you get the same or more power than the panel's power rating. Some of the KuMax CS3U-350P main features are it offers higher power for similar modules sizes, they have a better shading tolerance and a lower loss in cell connections. Canadian Solar panels are UL1703 certified, CEC Listed and are fully complying to IEC, TUV, UL testing standards.
