Canadian Solar's KuMax high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panels were developed with Low Internal Current (LIC) and new PERC cell technology. They are made with 144 cells (72 ½ cells) reaching a panel efficiency of up to 18.65%. The new KuMax monocrystalline module is now more reliable, it also presents a lower hot spot temperature and supports snow loads of up to 5400Pa. These modules are designed for solar grid-tie applications where maximum output is required as they provide a better shading tolerance.

KuMax positive-only tolerance guarantees that you get the same or more power than the panel's power rating. The new PERC cell structure minimizes microcracks providing a lower loss in cell connections. Canadian Solar panels are UL1703 certified, CEC Listed and are fully complying to IEC, TUV, UL testing standards.
